We believe in honesty and simplicity when it comes to skincare.

We make the best products that we can and our skincare range is deliberately small as many products are designed to be multi-tasking. For example, our Sage Super Balm nourishes hands, feet and elbows and can even be used to remove make-up.

We have designed all of our products to have natural health benefits, uplift your spirits and smell divine. They contain natural essential oils, which have huge, and largely untapped, health benefits. See essential oils we use and their properties

We love animals, so none of our products or their ingredients are tested on animals. And we don’t include any oil/petrochemical derivatives, artificial fragrances or colours, which are so often found in skincare products and can cause harmful effects.  Packaging

We want to be part of the solution, so we practise responsible sourcing and make eco-friendly decisions. Our own delivery boxes are 100% recyclable. Our tissue paper is provided by a sustainable company. We favour 100% recyclable packaging, fair-trade, locally produced and biodegradable products, all of which help reduce waste and pollution. And we happily accept our bottles back so that they can be reused.

Giving back

The Apothecary Room is a rural business and we like to support other rural businesses and ethical suppliers. We control the process from production to delivery. We believe that business can be both profitable and caring and a force for good, so we aim to give back through profit contributions to women’s charities. We treat others as we would want to be treated ourselves and are committed to providing a first-class and personal service.
